Another booming weekend at SDA started on Friday with a few Cessna loads and 3 King Air loads. 23 loads mostly back to back on Saturday. If you want to jump on, SDA is the place. Thanks to everyone for participating in Battleship!
A technicality caused a clear winner to be difficult to show. Because we didn't realize Andy, Mike, and Corey did 2 more jumps than Evan, Bekah, and Tim/Jon, the latter team was shown the opponents grid when we thought the game was over. Therefore they would have a decided advantage on the next day going for particular targets. However, if you don't count the last 2 jumps Evan, Bekah, and Tim/Jon won. In any case everyone made great strides in their canopy and accuracy skills in a short period of time.
Thanks again to new jumper Phil Johnson for some amazing Crawfish Etoufee' Saturday night.

Congrats to Craig Tennant for making his 100th jump!

You want back to back loads? We got 'em! No other DZ you can go to and get your jump on the way like you can at SDA. Thanks to Chris Martin for some great organizing all weekend. Lots of jumpers got one on one freefly coaching and some group dives as well. Remember, Chris will be back May 5th and 6th organizing and coaching again.

What an awesome weekend. The plane was running non-stop as usual. 24 loads Saturday with 2 night jumps and AFF graduates Saturday and Sunday. Congratulations to Chelsey Hylton and Maximillien Bouhours de Lussy (Max) on graduating!
It was an amazing show with the Silver Wings and some Golden Knights doing a 4-way and a 5-way with night pyro. Everyone had fun and made it down safely.
Sunday was a more relaxed pace but had some fun jumps. Congratulations to Andy White for earning his AFF Instructor rating this week. He was able to exercise his new rating with the Easter Bunny completing a Level 1 skydive.
